Engine
Exhaust System
The exhaust system carries away the waste gases from the engine to atmosphere.
It consists of exhaust manifold, exhaust pipe, catalytic converter, connecting
pipe, muffler and tail pipe. The exhaust manifold collects the waste
gases from each cylinder and sends them through the exhaust pipe into the
catalytic converter. The catalytic converter converts most of the
harmful gases into safe gases and then sends them the muffler. The
muffler reduces the big noise of the exhaust. The waste gases are
at last released into air through the tail pipe.
